Xiaomi Mi5c getting nougat update?

When xiaomi mi5c first release (in china) march 2017, it came with android 6.0 marshmallow, which is not the newest android, currently the newest stable version of android is android 7.0 nougat (as of april 2017), so will xiaomi mi5c get android 7.0 nougat update?

According to gsm arena page for xiaomi mi5c, the xiaomi mi5c is running android 7.0 nougat, and at the time i wrote this article (april 2017) there is a recruitment of beta tester for android 7.1 of mi5c, so there is a big chance that the mi5c will get a nougat update.

So probably instead of getting android 7.0, xiaomi mi5c will get android 7.1, which is also nougat, i can't wait to see that happen, in the mean time let's enjoy our mi5c with android 6.0 marshmallow.
